Alittle About This Site

So you may be wondering, why make a Slipknot fan site. I'll tell you why...Slipknot is the greatest band in the world. Yes, there have been rumours about the band splitting up, but they're just rumours, and even if they are breaking up, it doesn't change the fact that they rock! I think Slipknot deserves credit for what they do, I mean, they make millions of people happy, they unleash all of our inner demons, and that's what we need. And besides it's my time and energy and if I want to make my favorite band a tribute site, than goddamn it I will.

Why Vermilion?

Slipknot's 3rd new album has just been released, and to tell you the truth alot of people say it sucks, but that's because they were expecting to hear the same shit they always hear, even though Slipknot had said prior to the album "forget everything you know" Their new album is very different from the 1st two, yet in my opinion is their best yet! Anyways, back to why I named this site Vermilion, on their new Cd, they have 2 songs; Vermilion, and Vermilion pt.2 and they're definitely 2 of my favorite songs

Alittle about me!

Okay, this isn't really important, but incase you give a damn, my name is Christy, I'm 17 years old and have been listening to Slipknot since grade 7, I'm in grade 11 now. Next year I'm going to college, and I'm going to be taking Communications aka Creative arts (don't ask!) I've been to 3 concerts: Stone Sour, Ozzy, and the latest one...SLIPKNOT!! And yes, it blew the other 2 away!! Um, some other bands I like are: Stone Sour, Murderdolls, Trashlight vision, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Roxy Saint, Lacuna Coil, Soulfly, Pantera (RIP DIMEBAG) Metallica, Kittie, the Distillers, System of a down, Cradle of filth, Rob Zombie, Wasp, Marilyn Manson, Killswitch Engage, Cky, Chevelle, Coal Chamber, A perfect circle, And that's all I can think of for the moment. What else?...Oh Allen!! I have a boyfriend named Allen, it'll be one year and 5 months on February 16th...cool, huh? I met him last year in math class, and he's the bestest! He thinks I have a Slipknot obsession...pfft. Anyways, I'll shut up about myself now...
